We are seeking a skilled Construction Materials Handler Assistant to join our team. This is a permanent position working 30 to 40 hours per week.

Job Description

As a Construction Materials Handler Assistant, you will be responsible for loading, unloading and transporting construction materials. You will also read blueprints to determine work requirements and erect/dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Additionally, you will clean and pile salvaged materials and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.

Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires no degree, certificate or diploma. However, we will provide on-the-job training tailored to your needs. We also offer support for newcomers and refugees, as well as Indigenous people through mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities.

Benefits

You will have the opportunity to work in various locations and recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $50,000 and $60,000, based on industry standards for similar roles in the area.
