As a Dental Practice Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of our two clinics, ensuring smooth and efficient practice management, staff supervision, and patient care coordination.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Dental Practice Manager to lead our team for a 1-year maternity leave. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in dental or healthcare management, with a strong background in staff supervision, finances, inventory, and people management. You will be responsible for managing staff schedules, optimizing operational processes, maintaining compliance with dental regulations, and ensuring excellent patient service.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Planning & Execution
- Develop and execute plans to improve daily operations, ensuring maximum productivity and operational excellence.
- Review clinic environment and key business indicators to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
Compliance & Patient Safety
- Partner with Compliance, DC Institute, and Human Resources to ensure the clinic is fully compliant with provincial health regulation standards.
- Manage and oversee all compliance programs within the practice, prioritizing patient safety.
Leadership
- Lead, coach, and motivate the team to improve productivity, engagement, and patient retention.
- Drive the implementation of company programs, policies, and procedures, supporting action plans and motivating the team to meet operational and company objectives.
About You:
- 3-5 years of experience in dental or healthcare management.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or management role, contributing to business operations, including staff scheduling, finances, inventory, and people management.
- Strong business acumen and experience with budgeting and forecasting.
- Experience with dental software systems and Microsoft Office is preferred.
