The Opportunity:

ML6 Search + Talent Advisory is thrilled to support one of our esteemed clients in their search for a Chief Operations Strategist, to serve as a pivotal figure providing essential team development and direction.

Our client has developed an incredible reputation within the Office Furniture industry throughout North America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee operational systems, processes, and infrastructure while identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Anticipate and track operational and tactical risks, providing strategic solutions to mitigate potential challenges.
  • Manage day-to-day business operations, balancing responsibilities across various business lines such as business analysis, vendor management, and risk management.
  • Play a significant role in long-term planning, project status reporting, and implementing change control processes.
  • Collaborate with the CEO on special projects and departmental initiatives.
  • Develop and oversee operational budgets and forecasts.
  • Perform quality controls and monitor production key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements for Success:

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards success.
  • Effective negotiation skills to secure beneficial agreements for the organization.
  • Degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Commercial Furniture Operations experience is an asset, particularly with knowledge of best practices including delivery, packaging, quality, and repair.
  • Ability to travel internationally to meet with suppliers.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills to coordinate project activities.

Compensation Package:

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $140,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and supportive environment.
