RESPONSIBILTIES:
Assists the Chief Payroll Officer by handling a wide variety of payroll activities and tasks including the preparation of bi-weekly payroll, maintaining employee payroll records, maintaining employee benefits and having primary responsibility for the scheduling module.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Post-secondary education in accounting from a community college
- Enrolment/completion CPA’s, PCP
- Advanced Excel skills
- Minimum of six months related experience in a hospital payroll/finance function
- Demonstrated experience with Quadrant Payroll/Scheduling module including knowledge of templates, scheduling functions, shift activities and tile functions preferred
- Familiar with hospital union contracts (i.e. ONA, UNIFOR SERVICE, UNIFOR CLERICAL)
- Must maintain confidentiality
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle a large volume of work
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and the ability to deal congenially with a variety of people and operate effectively and efficiently with mínimal supervision
- Self-motivated
- Commitment to Patient Care & Safety and Service Excellence
- Must have and provide proof of full COVID-19 immunization (2 or more doses)
