Retail Store Manager

At Parmar Bros Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our sales floor, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively allocate tasks to sales staff to ensure efficient store operations and maximize sales potential.
- Authorize Payments: Verify and approve payments by cheque, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Order Merchandise: Coordinate with suppliers to procure merchandise, ensuring timely delivery and optimal inventory levels.
- Authorize Return of Merchandise: Process returns and exchanges, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for sales staff, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing overtime.
- Sell Merchandise: Engage with customers, promote products, and drive sales through effective sales techniques.
- Prepare Reports: Compile and analyze sales data, merchandising insights, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
- Organize and Maintain Inventory: Ensure accurate inventory levels, manage stockroom operations, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Lead and motivate sales staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, attention to detail, and flexibility to adapt to changing store conditions.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent client focus, flexibility, organized, reliable, and team player.
As a Retail Store Supervisor at Parmar Bros Inc, you will work in a fast-paced retail environment, interacting with customers, sales staff, and suppliers. You will be required to work 40 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing store conditions.
