Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, including apprentices, sales associates, and design team members, to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet sales and customer service targets.
  • Sales Floor Management: Oversee the sales floor, including merchandise displays, stock levels, and visual merchandising, to ensure that the store looks its best and that customers have a positive shopping experience.
  • Merchandise Management: Manage the receipt, storage, and display of merchandise, including inventory control and stockroom organization, to ensure that the store has the right products in the right quantities at the right time.

Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced retail environment with tight deadlines and heavy workload.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift heavy loads, as well as manual dexterity and attention to detail.
