About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary care team to provide primary health care services to patients, and contribute to the development and implementation of resident care plans.
Key Responsibilities: As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for practicing autonomously, assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing interventions. You will also collaborate with Medical Directors and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care services. Additionally, you will take a leadership role in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Nursing department.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need a current certificate of competence as a Registered Nurse with Extended Class privileges, a Master's degree in Nursing (preferred), and a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing with completion of the Ontario Primary HealthCare Nurse Practitioner Certificate Program. Five years of experience as a primary healthcare nurse practitioner is preferred, along with excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Employment with Jarlette Health Services will be contingent on proof of two vaccinations against COVID-19, a screening for tuberculosis, receipt of a current criminal reference check, including vulnerable sector screening and two supervisory references.
