About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manufacturing Operations Engineer to join our team at Allergan. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for driving production productivity improvement through yield enhancement, waste reduction, and cycle-time optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Technical Operations and Engineering, to design and implement process improvements.
  3. Lead troubleshooting activities and ensure timely closure of investigations and Corrective Action Preventive Actions (CAPAs).
  4. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment with company policies, objectives, and results.
  5. Ensure compliance with cGMP and safety regulations through review and update of manufacturing documentation.
  6. Conduct training and development programs for relevant personnel on procedures and best practices.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent; Master's Degree desired but not required.
  2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical or industrial manufacturing, with a strong background in process improvement and quality assurance.
  3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to quickly understand products and processes.
  4. Strong knowledge of GxP requirements and regulations, with good planning and scheduling skills.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
