The Timing and Communication Group (TCG) at Microchip is actively seeking an experienced analog design engineer. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with analog design leads and architects to develop critical IP blocks for TCG timing products
- Simulating analog circuits across process corners and operating conditions
- Modeling design blocks for inclusion in mixed-signal simulations
- Validating process silicon devices and system-level lab evaluations
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience as an IC layout designer using deep submicron CMOS process technology
- Strong knowledge of Cadence IC layout flow and tools
- Familiarity with Innovus and scripting languages like SKILL, Perl, and TCL
- Experience in layout verification and debugging, floor planning, and matching techniques
We offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry. It includes competitive base pay, restricted stock units, quarterly bonus payments, health benefits, retirement savings plans, and an industry-leading IESPP program. The annual base salary range for this position is $76,000 - $114,000, depending on factors like job location, skills, and experience.
