Job Title: Handyman/Woman

At ABS SafeCom Trucking Consultants, we are seeking a skilled Handyman/Woman to join our team. As a Handyman/Woman, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including washing windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Advertise vacancies and perform minor repairs on appliances.
  • Perform safety and security checks, and supervise other workers.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, and water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, and work with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work under pressure, handle heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Good physical condition, with ability to bend, crouch, and kneel.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment, 30 to 40 hours per week, with English as the primary language of work.
