Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using evidence-based practice and clinical judgment.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating patient and family education and support.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care, including crisis intervention and management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of nursing policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership and guidance to other nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- One year recent experience in acute psychiatry or tertiary mental health, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work, with a focus on patient-centered care.
