Job Summary:

The Portfolio Group is seeking a skilled Human Resources Advisor to join our team. As an HR Advisor, you will provide expert guidance and support to clients across a range of HR issues, from routine inquiries to complex matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality advice and solutions to clients through telephone calls, video conferences, and email.
  • Receive and respond to client inquiries on HR-related matters, including absence management, disciplinaries, workplace violence, and terminations.
  • Provide clients with supporting information and documentation to assist them in implementing advice and solutions.
  • Actively own cases to resolution, building rapport and working relationships with clients.
  • Review client documentation and provide advice, taking into account internal terms and conditions.
  • Stay up-to-date with HR and employment legislation through ongoing training and professional development.
  • Meet clear and measurable KPIs and work within set SLAs to provide first-call resolution.
  • Log all advice accurately onto Salesforce and other systems.
  • Follow internal protocols for managing and escalating cases.

Requirements:

  • CHRP/CPHR designation is mandatory.
  • 5+ years of experience in an advising role.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving, performance-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
  • Previous experience in a KPI/target-driven environment, ideally in a shared service centre.
  • Ability to motivate yourself and others.
  • Organized self-starter with enthusiasm for exceptional service delivery.
