We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an In-School Mentoring Coordinator. This role will be responsible for managing the In-School Mentoring program, including recruitment, training, and supervision of volunteers and mentees.
Responsibilities:- Manage the In-School Mentoring program, including recruitment, training, and supervision of volunteers and mentees.
- Develop and maintain relationships with school administrators, teachers, and school personnel to deliver programming.
- Ensure adherence to National Standards while performing casework duties.
- Perform administrative duties associated with managing a caseload.
- A minimum of a Diploma in the social service field is required, however, a Degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in youth-focused social services;
- or an equivalent combination of each
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite applications
- Working knowledge of client records management systems
- Experience with using basic counselling skills (attending, active listening, empathy, etc.)
Starting rate: $ + 4% vacation pay
