About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team. As the first point of contact with prospective customers, you will play a crucial role in identifying and engaging with new business opportunities. Your strong communication skills, combined with your ability to think creatively and build relationships, will be essential in driving sales growth and expanding our customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities through a multi-channel approach, including cold calling, emailing, and networking
  • Build relationships with relevant stakeholders and identify decision-makers within target organizations
  • Identify prospect needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Establish trust with prospective partners/customers as their first point of contact during initial stages of the sales cycle
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospective customers/partners and veritree sales executives
  • Maintain accurate CRM records to track lead progress and follow up at the right time
  • Report weekly, monthly, and quarterly results to the Head of Partnerships, including revenue, pipeline growth, and statistics
Requirements
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in sales, business development, with a history of exceeding targets
  • Strong communication skills via phone and email, with a natural conversational tone
  • Proficient with Hubspot or other CRM software

Typical On-Target Earnings for this position is up to $100,000 per year, consisting of a base salary of $40,000-$60,000 plus a variable sales bonus. The final salary offer will be based on your qualifications, job-related skills, and relevant experience.
