Key Responsibilities:
  • Process documents and invoices, prepare cover letters, and produce certificates of insurance, schedules, and claims reporting.
  • Field internal client communication via mail, email, phone, and/or face-to-face, and identify clients' insurance requirements.
  • Handle issuance and sending of certificates, pre-renewal, renewal, new business submissions, and proposals as requested.
  • Maintain activity lists as requested, including Endos, polos, account discrepancies, SOV's, etc.
  • Support processes and procedures and past practices; participate in team meetings.
  • Advocate for changes and additions to service plans that increase value for clients.
Requirements:
  • Support a climate in which teams want to do their best.
  • Adaptable to working effectively as a team or independently with the ability to adjust to tight and changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to maximize efficiencies by leveraging technology, tools, resources, and information.
  • Self-guided learner & solves problems with real solutions.
  • Working towards Level 2 BC Broker License.
  • Working knowledge of insurance document management software (EPIC) & Policy works.
  • Skilled user of Microsoft office - Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
