About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter - Framing Specialist to join our team at Next Level Framing LTD. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality framing work on our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and layout building frames in accordance with building codes and specifications, using precision measuring tools and techniques.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel, to create sturdy and secure frames.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to ensure a solid and stable structure.
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to complete the framing process.
  • Coordinate and schedule work on construction sites to ensure timely completion and minimal disruptions.
  • Supervise and lead a team of workers to ensure they are working safely and efficiently.
  • Estimate costs and materials to ensure projects are completed within budget.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial structures, including wooden structures in various industries.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1-2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliability and punctuality
Working Conditions

  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday
  • Overtime required to meet project deadlines
