Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Attendant to join our team at Ellerslie Chicken Foods Inc. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Supply Management: Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Food Preparation: Package take-out food and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
  • Supply Receiving and Storage: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas to maintain inventory levels.
  • Customer Service: Advise customers on menu selections and provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction.
  • Physical Demands: Stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) to meet the physical demands of the role.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Possess efficient interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrate a team player attitude to contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
  • Work Term and Hours: Work a permanent schedule with 32 hours per week.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
