Position Overview

Join our team at Sunset Grill as a dedicated Food Service Counter Attendant. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and efficient dining experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Table Setup: Ensure that clean dishes, utensils, and other dining items are brought to serving areas and tables are properly set.
  • Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
  • Dining Area Maintenance: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to uphold a tidy environment.
  • Dishwashing: Operate dishwashers to effectively wash dishes, glassware, and utensils.
  • Supply Management: Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas as needed.
  • Take-Out Preparation: Package take-out food efficiently for customers.
  • Food Preparation: Portion, wrap, and prepare simple food items to meet customer needs.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a friendly demeanor.
  • Stocking: Ensure refrigerators and salad bars are well-stocked for service.
  • Kitchen Cleanliness: Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean workspace.
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is preferred.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Language: English is the primary working language.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
