About the Role

GTA VAPORIUM INC. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our culinary team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service in our establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless execution of food preparation and service.

Supervise and Coordinate Food Preparation

Oversee the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring adherence to quality control standards and efficient service delivery.

Train and Develop Staff

Provide comprehensive training to staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional service.

Inventory Management and Reporting

Estimate ingredient and supply requirements, maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as needed.

Quality Control and Customer Service

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customer complaints or concerns, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.

Supervision and Teamwork

Supervise and coordinate the activities of 1 to 2 people, working collaboratively as a team to achieve common goals.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Personal Qualities

Excellent oral communication skills, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
