We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at J.WTS LTD. in a permanent position.

Job Summary:

The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as requisitioning food and kitchen supplies. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Co-ordinate special events
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Manage kitchen operations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lift heavy loads
