Job Title: Logistics Operations Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at Woodstock Grocers. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring smooth delivery of goods, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement logistics plans to prioritize tasks and optimize operational efficiency
  • Organize and coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless execution of logistics operations
  • Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including inventory management, dispatch management, and purchasing
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on logistics performance and areas for improvement
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of logistics staff to ensure high levels of productivity and quality

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
