Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities- Establish effective methods to meet work schedules and optimize operational efficiency.
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Evaluate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and make informed purchasing decisions.
- Hire qualified food service staff to ensure seamless operation.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure food and service meet established standards.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates to inform financial decision-making.
- Respond promptly to customer complaints or concerns to maintain excellent customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
- Compile and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with chefs to prepare and submit detailed food order summaries.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team of 3-4 staff members.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
- Maintain a physically demanding role, requiring prolonged standing, bending, and walking.
- Develop and maintain excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Possess flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to take initiative and contribute to the growth of the organization.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- At least 7 months of experience in a similar role, preferably within the food service industry.
