Rice and Noodle Restaurant Cook Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Cook to join our team at Rice and Noodle. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Kitchen Management: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all equipment and utensils are in good working order.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, and order supplies as needed.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
