Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Operational Supervisor to oversee our delivery services. This role is ideal for an individual with strong leadership abilities and experience in managing teams.

About the Role

The Operational Supervisor will be responsible for supervising workers and projects, preparing production reports, and training staff members. They will also be involved in dispatching bus drivers, monitoring routes, and coordinating schedules. Additionally, they will ensure that health and safety regulations are followed and requisition materials and equipment as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure efficient completion of tasks
  • Prepare production and other reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Train or arrange for training of staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Dispatch bus drivers and monitor routes to optimize delivery efficiency
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet deadlines and customer expectations
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time position, working 30-40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, communicating effectively with colleagues and customers.
