At EllisDon, we're committed to innovation and excellence in the construction industry. As a Senior VDC Coordinator, you'll play a key role in driving digital transformation and leading our team to success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop BIM Execution Plans and VDC implementation strategies
  • Manage and maintain BIM data generated from various sources throughout design and construction
  • Develop solutions with project stakeholders through model-based design and constructability review, clash detection, and visualization
  • Take ownership of coordination meetings with designers, trades, and suppliers
  • Work closely with design teams to develop building designs and ensure compliance with project information requirements and BIM standards
  • Facilitate reality capture using LiDAR, drones, and 360 photography for model integration, QA/QC, analysis, and visualization
  • Teach and mentor project teams on new software and workflows
  • Participate in software testing, R&D initiatives, and personal and professional growth
Requirements:
  • University degree or technology diploma in engineering, architecture, M&E, or related field
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in BIM management, modeling, and related technology
  • Experience with 3D laser scanning, 360 photography, and LiDAR
  • Experience working with COBie data, ISO 19650 standards, and Autodesk Construction Cloud
  • Advanced experience in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Excellent organization, time management skills, and attention to detail
