Retail Store Team Lead

At SHELL GAS STATION, we are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively manage and allocate tasks to sales staff to ensure seamless customer service and efficient store operations.
- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their full potential.
- Order Merchandise: Source and procure high-quality products to meet customer demand, ensuring timely delivery and optimal stock levels.
- Authorize Returns: Process customer returns and exchanges efficiently, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels, minimizing overtime and maximizing productivity.
- Sell Merchandise: Engage with customers, promote products, and drive sales growth through effective sales techniques and product knowledge.
- Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to inform business decisions.
- Resolve Issues: Proactively address customer complaints, supply chain disruptions, and other operational challenges, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Organize Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory levels, manage stockroom operations, and ensure efficient product replenishment.
- Supervise Staff: Lead and motivate a high-performing team, providing coaching, feedback, and support to ensure they meet their full potential.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of retail management experience.
- Work Setting: Retail business environment.
- Supervision: 5-10 people.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliable, and a team player.
- Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster.
- Assist with foreign credential recognition.
