We are seeking a highly skilled Policy Manager to join our team at BMO. As a Policy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of policies related to our emerging channel.
Key Responsibilities- Policy Development and Implementation
Develop and implement policies related to our emerging channel, ensuring they are aligned with our business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Vendor ManagementManage vendor relationships to ensure they are following BMO's policies and procedures.
Strategic InitiativesSupport strategic initiatives by conducting competitive analysis and research, and developing policy and risk proposals to ensure our channel policies remain competitive in the market.
Process and Change ManagementWork with internal and external stakeholders to complete policy changes, communications, and updates for both lender policy and handbook.
ReportingSupport senior management with policy-related item reporting, utilizing a data-driven mindset.
Qualifications- Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong policy, consumer lending, and credit risk knowledge of Home Financing products.
- Strong knowledge of banking product management and associated industry and regulatory requirements.
- Relationship management – In-depth
- Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth.
- Collaboration & team skills - In-depth.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills - In-depth. Proficient in Excel and other office software.
- Influence skills - In-depth.
We offer a competitive salary range of $68,000 to $126,000 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
