Bakery Production Assistant

As a Bakery Production Assistant at Federated Co-operatives Limited, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our bakery department. Reporting to the Bakery/Deli Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:- To perform slicing and packaging duties for breads and buns with precision and efficiency.
- To fry and finish doughnuts in accordance with our high standards.
- To finish tarts, pies, and other baked goods to perfection.
- To assist in bench work on cookies and other dough, ensuring quality and consistency.
- To maintain accurate records in the work area, including production sheets.
- To take bakery orders from customers and prepare invoices with accuracy.
- To maintain system sanitation standards and practices, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
- To assist in other duties as assigned by the Bakery/Deli Manager.
- Strong service orientation, motivation, and ability to serve customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Capability to operate required equipment for the preparation, merchandising, and sale of Bakery products.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
