Bakery Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Assistant to join our team at Mirch Masala & Indian Sweet Cuisine Ltd. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing dough, batters, and icings for a variety of sweet and savory treats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods according to recipes or special customer orders
  • Bake mixed dough and batters to perfection
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods with precision and creativity
  • Draw up production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products
  • Train staff on new recipes and techniques
  • Ensure the quality of products meets our high standards
  • Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods to maximize revenue
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a bakery or related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Reliability, judgement, and team player skills
Working Conditions:

Our bakery is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will be working with a variety of ingredients and equipment. You must be able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of quality in your work.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

30 hours per week.
