About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Assistant to join our team at Mirch Masala & Indian Sweet Cuisine Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Baking and Decorating: Bake mixed dough and batters, frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
  • Production Scheduling: Draw up production schedules to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
  • Staff Training: Train new staff members on our baking and production procedures.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of our products meets our high standards.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Oversee the sales and merchandising of our baked goods.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong teamwork skills.
