The Mail Processing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the efficient manual and machine processing of mail at Canada Post. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to manage a team and ensure deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set daily priorities and schedules staff to ensure efficient mail processing.
  • Implement and promote workplace safety and health programs.
  • Supervise, coach, and provide guidance to employees, promoting a respectful work environment.
  • Maintain optimum productivity levels by monitoring and adjusting staffing to workload.
  • Perform quality checks and investigate abnormalities to resolve issues.
  • Analyze daily productivity reports to identify problems and trends.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year experience managing a team or 2 years' experience in a unionized environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Working Hours:

Sunday: 22h00 - 06h00

Monday to Friday: 23h00 - 07h00

Safety Sensitive Position:

This position may be considered a Safety Sensitive position and has additional requirements under Canada Post's Substance Use Policy.
