Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Slave Lake Inn and Conference Centre. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other relevant metrics to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment

Our restaurant operates in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
