Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and blueprints
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and specifications
  • Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping and bending machines
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
Requirements:
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Propane in Construction Record of Training
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Welder Trade Red Seal Certificate
  • Forklift Operator Certification
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and manual dexterity required. The work site environment is dusty, hot, and noisy.
