Energy Systems Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Energy Systems Engineer to join our team in Ottawa. As a key member of our Energy Systems Engineering Discipline, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring junior engineers, performing peer review of building energy projects, and representing JLR in client-facing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the growth of the Energy Systems Engineering team through external initiatives and internal mentoring programs.
- Act as energy engineering discipline lead on multidisciplinary projects, including zero-carbon building design and deep-energy building retrofit projects.
- Lead and mentor junior energy engineering team members in building energy modelling and design.
- Perform peer review of building energy projects and represent JLR in client-facing projects.
- Develop improved modelling and analysis methodologies for energy project deliverables.
- Organize the workload of technicians and junior engineers to ensure project deadlines are met.
