Energy Systems Professional

We are seeking a talented Energy Systems Professional to join our team in Ottawa. As a key member of our Energy Systems Engineering Discipline, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring junior engineers, developing innovative solutions, and collaborating with clients to deliver high-quality projects.
Key Responsibilities- Support the growth of the Energy Systems Engineering team through business development and marketing initiatives.
- Act as energy engineering discipline lead on multidisciplinary projects, including zero-carbon building design and deep-energy building retrofit projects.
- Lead and mentor junior energy engineering teams in building energy modelling and design.
- Perform peer review of building energy projects.
- Represent JLR and the Energy Systems Engineering Discipline in client-facing projects.
- Develop improved modelling and analysis methodologies for energy project deliverables.
- Organize workload of technicians and junior engineers to ensure project deadlines are met.
