About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement policies to support business growth and development in our target markets.
  • Program Administration: Administer programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment, including venture capital sourcing and development.
  • Project Planning: Plan and develop projects to support business growth and development, including market research and analysis.
  • Business Development: Develop and implement business plans to support the growth and development of our target markets.
  • Communication: Respond to enquiries from members of the business community, develop social and economic profiles of areas to encourage investment, and prepare reports and research papers.
  • Market Research: Design and implement market research questionnaires to gather data on business trends and opportunities.
  • Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote business growth and development.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in business development or a related field.
  • Work Setting: Business and/or industry.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under tight deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, dependable, excellent oral and written communication skills.
