Become a key player in promoting excellence and driving business success as a Social Accountability Compliance Specialist at BSI Companies. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting detailed assessments of client organizations to ensure compliance with social accountability standards such as SA8000, Sedex SMETA, and WRAP. As an APSCA-registered CSCA Level 3 auditor, you will evaluate working conditions, labor practices, and corporate social responsibility initiatives. Your expertise will be essential in conducting on-site assessments, preparing reports, and making certification recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake management system assessments announced/unannounced in accordance with BSI scheme requirements.
  • Prepare assessment reports and deliver findings to clients to ensure client understanding of the assessment decision and clear direction to particular items of corrective action where appropriate.
  • Recommend the issue, re-issue or withdrawal of certificates, and report recommendations in accordance with BSI policy, procedures and prescribed time frame.
Your Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in social sciences, human resources, labor relations, or a related field.
  • An APSCA-registered CSCA Level 3 qualification in good standing.
  • Training in SA8000 and experience with Sedex SMETA, RBA, WRAP, or similar standards.
  • At least 2 years of conducting social accountability audits and 3–5 years in auditing, HR, compliance, or corporate social responsibility.
