About the Role

The Taxation Manager will play an integral role in managing global tax compliance for the pension plan. This involves domestic and international filings across the world.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of compliance services from third-party tax compliance providers.
  • Provide insight to external tax advisors engaged to prepare returns.
  • Support the preparation of internally managed tax returns.
  • Interact with internal stakeholders to manage tax payments and refunds.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of tax provisions and management of CRS/FATCA reporting.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Chartered Professional Accountant or equivalent designation.
  • 5 or more years of experience in tax compliance.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to think through complex problems.
  • Understanding of Canadian taxation and basic understanding of international taxation.
