About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at Millennium Pacific Greenhouses Partnership. As an Operations Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our greenhouses and contributing to our environmental sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise a team of 16-20 employees, including working groups, administrative clerks, computer operators, data entry clerks, general office clerks, personnel clerks, receptionists and switchboard operators, record and file clerks, telephone operators, typesetters and related workers, and typists and word processing operators.
  • Operations Management
    • Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks and ensure the efficient operation of equipment.
    • Organize tasks to accomplish work and train workers in duties and policies.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management.
    • Ensure smooth operation of equipment and resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
    • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work.
    • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.
    • Arrange for maintenance and repair work.
    • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments.
  • Environmental Sustainability
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of environmental sustainability initiatives.
    • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and policies.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
    • 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
    Requirements
    • Language
      • English language proficiency.
    • Computer Skills
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
      • Experience with database software and Adobe Suite.
    • Security Clearance
      • Basic security clearance.
    • Transportation
      • Valid driver's license.
      • Own transportation.
