Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Mister Convenience. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities of Workers: Lead and manage a team of sales workers, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively to meet sales targets and customer needs.
- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Assign tasks and responsibilities to sales workers, ensuring they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
- Hire and Train or Arrange for Training of Staff: Recruit, hire, and train new staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Order Merchandise: Order and manage inventory, ensuring that the store is well-stocked and that customers have access to a wide range of products.
- Authorize Return of Merchandise: Process returns and exchanges, ensuring that customers are satisfied with their purchases and that the store maintains a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules, ensuring that staff are working efficiently and effectively to meet sales targets and customer needs.
- Sell Merchandise: Sell products to customers, ensuring that they are satisfied with their purchases and that the store maintains a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare Reports on Sales Volumes, Merchandising and Personnel Matters: Analyze sales data and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, ensuring that the store is operating efficiently and effectively.
- Resolve Issues that May Arise, Including Customer Requests, Complaints and Supply Shortages: Resolve customer complaints and issues, ensuring that customers are satisfied with their purchases and that the store maintains a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Organize and Maintain Inventory: Manage inventory, ensuring that the store is well-stocked and that customers have access to a wide range of products.
- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities of Workers: Lead and manage a team of sales workers, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively to meet sales targets and customer needs.
- Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- 7 Months to Less than 1 Year of Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment is required.
- English Language: English language proficiency is required.
The work environment is a retail store with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The work schedule is 35 to 44 hours per week.
