We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Dogg House Tavern. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and executing menus that exceed our customers' expectations.
Responsibilities:- Coordinate special events and banquets, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer service.
- Determine food portion sizes and costs, optimizing menu offerings to meet customer demand and maintain profitability.
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements, collaborating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality ingredients.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining a well-stocked inventory to support menu execution.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring a consistent and safe dining experience.
- Order supplies and equipment, maintaining a clean and well-maintained kitchen environment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Organize buffets and banquets, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our customers.
- Manage kitchen operations, overseeing staff and ensuring efficient execution of menu items.
Requirements:
- 1-7 months of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent employment.
- English language proficiency.
- 35-40 hours of work per week.
