We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Days Inn. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of guest arrivals and departures.
  • Reservations: Take, cancel, and change room reservations, providing guests with accurate and up-to-date information on room availability.
  • Customer Service: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as general information about points of interest in the area, ensuring guests have a positive and memorable experience.
  • Cash Handling: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments, maintaining accurate cash handling and balancing cash and completing balance sheets and related forms.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Emergency Procedures: Follow emergency and safety procedures, ensuring the well-being and safety of guests and staff.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical duties, including faxing, filing, and photocopying, as required.
  • Communication: Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, providing excellent communication and customer service skills.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
