We are seeking a highly skilled Property Restoration Technician to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for restoring properties affected by water damage, fires, and other disasters.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a clean criminal record, a valid Class 5 driver's license, and experience driving/parking a panel van and cube truck. You will also need to be able to lift industrial fans (30-40 lbs) and load/unload wheeled industrial dehumidifiers (75-100 lbs). Additionally, you should have knowledge of construction and basic building materials, as well as the ability to safely use power tools and hand tools.

Responsibilities

  • Extract water using truck mount and portable pumps
  • Assist with demolition of non-restorable building material
  • Set up drying equipment as per established procedures
  • Monitor drying process and adjust equipment as required
  • Work within an On-Call rotation for after-hours emergencies

Requirements

  • Clean Criminal Record
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean abstract
  • Experience driving/parking a panel van and cube truck
  • Ability to lift industrial fans (30-40 lbs)
  • Ability to load/unload wheeled industrial dehumidifiers (75-100 lbs)
  • Knowledge of construction and basic building materials
  • Safely use of power tools and hand tools
  • Experience in custodial work, pressure washing, carpet cleaning (considered an asset)
