Job Title: Pre-Dialysis Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Pre-Dialysis Nurse to join our team at the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay (CBHSSJB). As a Pre-Dialysis Nurse, you will play a crucial role in the management and support of patients with chronic kidney disease, providing comprehensive care and guidance throughout their journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and monitor patients with chronic kidney disease, providing personalized care and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive, holistic patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting healthy lifestyle choices and disease management.
  • Work closely with the nephrology team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in research activities aimed at promoting health and preventing disease.
Requirements:
  • Member in good standing of the O.I.I.Q.
  • Two (2) years of experience as a nurse.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience with the chronic kidney clientele.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
  • Fluency in English; fluency in Cree or French is an asset.
