Job Title: Academy Site Manager

Challenge-TRG Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Academy Site Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our blue-chip contracts to ensure a high-quality consistent service is delivered to meet client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Fully manage the contract from recruitment to operational delivery, building effective client relationships and ensuring daily operations run smoothly.
  2. Meet with the client on a weekly basis to review SLA/KPIs and consistently achieve weekly targets.
  3. Monitor, forecast, and report on the financial performance of the site, ensuring accurate costings for workers' pay on a weekly basis.
  4. Line manage the onsite team, including motivation, target setting, and development, to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  5. Oversee the daily implementation of the operational plan, translating strategic and longer-term objectives into feasible and understandable solutions for the onsite team.
  6. Develop strong client relationships and create a positive client perception of Challenge-TRG Recruitment Ltd.
  7. Recruit production staff and other personnel locally to meet demands, ensuring the calibre of workers selected to work for client accounts is in line with Company procedures.
  8. Coordinate with the Operations/Recruitment Team for advertising and marketing needs, planning and organising the assessment process for all production staff.
  9. Accountable for overall compliance at sites, ensuring plans for contingencies are in place, and responsible for accurate accident reporting and any insurance/claim issues that may arise.
  10. Maximise all opportunities onsite, reducing spend wherever possible, and accountable for exceeding budget, driving results to achieve required P&L.
Person Specification:
  1. Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
  2. Proven experience of contract management ideally in the Food Production environment.
  3. Experience of building effective client relationships at all levels.
  4. Experienced and successful at management and delivering results.
  5. Presentation, selling, and negotiation skills, together with the ability to produce results.
  6. Experience of working with various reporting and forecasting tools.
  7. Strong people management skills with a focus on targets.
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
  9. Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to build effective and sustainable relationships.
  10. Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented with a positive outlook and focus on quality and business profit.
  11. Outstanding numerical and budgeting skills.
  12. Uses initiative and good judgement to make decisions.
  13. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  14. Very good computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  15. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and encourage teamwork.
  16. Analytical and methodical in approach to problems.
  17. Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
  18. Ability to handle a busy and varied workload, meet tight deadlines, and prioritise effectively.
  19. Resilient and able to work in an organisation undergoing change due to development and growth.
