Compensation Package

This salaried role offers a competitive compensation package blending fee-for-service school-based visits and complex care work. The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our team in Simcoe County, including Bradford, Alliston, Beeton, and Tottenham. As a Pediatric Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for supporting a school-based rehabilitation program for children and youth with rehabilitation needs.

You will assess and build accurate rehab care plans based on clients' physical needs, managing complex caseloads that include children and youth with neuro-developmental diagnoses and significant musculoskeletal conditions. Your expertise will also involve mobility equipment prescription, home safety, and customized physical rehab treatment programming, working closely with a physiotherapy assistant as needed.

As a pediatric client advocate, you will facilitate partnerships between families, schools, school boards, and local healthcare systems to ensure clients can attend school and participate in activities such as gym and recess.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Current active registration and good standing as a Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • Previous experience in pediatric rehabilitation is preferred
  • ADP authorizer status would be an asset
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
