Salary Range: CAD $91,000 - CAD $114,000 per year
We offer a competitive salary range based on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and training. This estimate reflects the base pay only and does not include our bonus program and benefits.
Job Description
The US Benefits Program Manager plays a crucial role in administering and supporting the Arc'teryx employee experience through our US benefits plans, leaves, wellness, and retirement programs. Key responsibilities include designing, delivering, and implementing employee total wellbeing programs related to group health and dental benefits, wellness, leaves, and absences, recognition, and additional perquisites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deliver, and implement employee total wellbeing programs
- Perform mandatory filing and testing as required by the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and IRS
- Provide consultation to key internal stakeholders on program awareness, policies, and best practices
- Manage escalations from all employee benefits tickets with key internal and external stakeholders
- Analyze data and feedback from employee listening channels to provide recommendations on employee education campaigns and program adjustments
- Regularly audit and report on program performance, trends, and employee data integrity
- Manage case escalations from disability management programs with sensitivity and collaborate with business partners and health and safety on program requirements
- Provide direction on program configurations and accurate employee and employer premiums calculations to Payroll and HRIS teams
- Lead benefits projects, including annual open enrollment and implementations, and participate in other total rewards projects
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A post-secondary education in Human Resources or Business (or equivalent experience)
- A minimum of 5 years' working experience with a United States or global benefits environment
- Strong knowledge of United States benefits-related legislation, with the ability to learn emerging regulations
- Certification in benefits administration, such as CEBS GBA 1 and GBA 2 (US Curriculum) or CBP
- Excellent vendor and relationship management skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate large amounts of data
- Mindset of continuous improvement and willingness to challenge the status quo
- Customer service orientation with the ability to establish collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
