Job Title: Thoracic Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Thoracic Surgeon to join our team at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). As a Thoracic Surgeon, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating diseases and disorders of the chest, including the lungs, heart, and esophagus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and treat diseases and disorders of the chest, including the lungs, heart, and esophagus.
  • Perform surgical procedures, including thoracotomies and lung resections.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with chest diseases and disorders.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in the field of thoracic surgery.
Requirements:
  • MD or equivalent degree in medicine.
  • Completion of a residency program in thoracic surgery.
  • Board certification in thoracic surgery.
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in the province of Ontario.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
