Ferme Champ Gauche is seeking a skilled Farm Worker, Vegetables to join our team. As a Farm Worker, Vegetables, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and productivity of our vegetable crops.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply the technique of hoeing between the row to maintain soil quality and prevent weeds from competing with crops for water and nutrients.
  • Clean the crops to prevent damage and ensure they are free of debris.
  • Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots to optimize sales and minimize waste.
  • Greenhouse cleaning to maintain a clean and healthy environment for plant growth.
  • Guide growing shoots into optimal development positions to promote healthy growth and maximize yields.
  • Hand harvesting vegetables to ensure they are picked at the optimal time for maximum flavor and quality.
  • Harvest seedlings to ensure they are removed from the soil at the optimal time for transplanting.
  • Mixing fertilizer to provide plants with the necessary nutrients for healthy growth.
  • Weeding to prevent weeds from competing with crops for water and nutrients.
  • Fertilize and spray crops to promote healthy growth and maximize yields.
  • Harvest crops to ensure they are picked at the optimal time for maximum flavor and quality.
  • Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market to ensure we are providing the highest quality produce to our customers.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's licence to transport equipment and supplies.
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling to perform tasks that require physical labor.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in agriculture or a related field.
