Ferme Champ Gauche is seeking a skilled Farm Worker to join our team in a seasonal position. As a Farm Worker, you will be responsible for various tasks related to vegetable farming, including crop maintenance, harvesting, and preparation for market.
Key Responsibilities:- Apply horticultural techniques to ensure optimal crop growth and development.
- Clean and prepare crops for market, including sorting and packaging.
- Assist with greenhouse maintenance and cleaning.
- Guide growing shoots into optimal development positions.
- Hand harvest vegetables and other crops.
- Examine products for quality and readiness for market.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
- Basic knowledge of horticulture and crop maintenance.
- Work will be performed primarily outdoors in a rural setting.
- May involve working at heights and in hot weather conditions.
- Free parking available on site.
- Opportunity for on-the-job training and skill development.
Please note that this is a seasonal position, and the duration of employment will be approximately 40 hours per week.
